Oven roast

I just bought a prime rib and it said"prime rib oven roast" I have bought many prime ribs and never have I seen one that said that. I want to cook it on the grill. Does any one know why it would say oven roast? Is there a difference? I have cooked pot roasts in the oven and eye rounds but none of them have said Oven roast. Elaine
