We havem had few Monarchs this year. I was out in the yard an hour ago and spotted about 50 Monarchs descending into our yard. Lots of pics soon. I hope.

I can't even imagine having 50 monarchs come into the yard. TX butterflying must really be something!
Can't wait to take some. They were exploring, flitting from flower to flower very quickly. I have a couple of hundred Mexican milkweeds in pristine condition ready for them.
I have seen much larger migrations in Oklahoma where they completely covered a field of trees, hanging in clusters like grapes. That was a few years ago, before I had any camera.
