Definitely chilly here - not that far from you - I didn't check the thermometer but it must have been low 40's at least. I'm not ready for winter!

We're getting down to an average of 63-60 at night. This weekend looking at temps between 55-43. Maters still looking good. They keep making blooms during the sunny days with avg. temps in the mid-70s.

37 this morning here....my hoyas are going to be extremely unhappy with me! But they will survive. And I don't think it is going to get quite that low again according to the forecast. Hopefully Monday I can start bringing them in. I have just been too busy this week and this weekend I will be gone.

We had our first touch of frost last night. In didn't hear it was coming till the 10:00 news. Had to grab a flashlight and move pots and cuttings inside, cover tomatoes, prep a warm corner in the garage for the dogs, find the kids winter clothes for school, and hookup the electric blankets. Woke to a beautiful mist coming off the ponds. It's now a warm, beautiful, sunny day.....and the kids are at school, probably sweating and cursing me in their winter clothes. lol.
