This is so much fun !

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

This is a seeding I just found this morning starting to open in the greenhouse. It is Golden Lady x Earth Angel. The hybernizer is Brenda Delph.

Here is another view. It is stuffed like Golden Lady at this point.

You have had such a fun year with your brugs Patricia. Just great.

Isn't there a song Earth Angel? I now have the rudiments of it running around my mind. LOL

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

This next one is a Terri S. Shivo x NOL cross, again hyb. Brenda Delph. It blooms out pure white then after a few day's turns a soft peach. It is the shape that I like.

You know me Kell, a full blown brug. addict.

This next one is a #4 Kleine aap cross x ? x NOL

B. Chesa in full bloom. This one has bloomed almost contantly for me this summer. Didn't have one attach of spider mites until the end of August when she was attacked by broad mites. Unfortunately when spraying her, I burned her leaves really bad, but she still continued to bloom.

B. Golden Lady. I don't think I would ever not plant this one in my yard.

New Orleans Lady. Now that our nights are getting cool, she is throwing a few singles. But she is so beautiful during the summer when it is warm.

B. Desiree. This one doesn't seem to bloom until the second year, but I love it anyway.

Painted Lady in the greenhouse. Here in Calif. the pinks don't seem to color up for us like they do in the South and East, but if I put them in the greenhouse with more humidity, I get to see the color they should be.

Margie's Delight. This has been my best bloomer this summer. Like B. Chesa, she didn't have any mites all summer until late August and then got hit by broad mites. I sprayed her with an insecticide with added Hort oil and burned her, but she just kept on blooming.

And last for today, this is New Orleans Lady and Genevieve blooming along side her.

Gorgeous, Patricia!! I really like the (#4 Kleine App x ?) NOL. Brenda has some awesome crosses, doesn't she?

I've got a seedling of hers that I'm growing that's just starting to bloom, it's getting some pink to her, and is a triple....

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Wow Patricia! Everything is beautiful. Great color on Painted Lady! I'm tickled for you.. it's fantastic!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Great pictures, Patricia. You sure have a bunch of color in your yard now.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Patricia, you are really getting a show now! Good for you. :)
I have long wanted Jamie's Monkey Business, yours is nice. What are the crosses for Margie's Delight and Chesa, would you happen to know?
Great bloomers.
I really enjoyed your pictures.

Oakland, CA(Zone 10a)

Gorgeous pics/brugs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hellobebe, Margie's Delight is a Susie French cross (unregistered) EP x L'Aour.
Chesa was a seedling that I grew out in 2005. The tag was lost and I almost through the plant out, but at the last minute couldn't bring myself to do it, so I saved it and it bloomed that winter in the greenhouse.

Thank you all for your kind comments. A few weeks back, when ZZ was here visiting, I was ready to just chop them all down and be done with it for the year. But I sure am enjoying this final Fall bloom.

Northern California, CA(Zone 9b)

Unbelievable Patricia. The Golden Lady X Earth Angel looks like a winner to me. Is this one compact like GL?

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

You've definitely got an awesome fall flush going. Just gorgeous!!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Patricia. Glad you didn't throw Chesa out!

She's gorgeous, Patricia!! You must be so excited!! :)

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I am excited. I love the small flowing one's with the nodding blooms. I am still hoping for a darker color.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Pretty bloom, Patricia. You must be so happy to have so many nice blooming brugs now.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Thanks Shirley ! After being so bummed a few weeks ago with my brugs, this was just the lift I needed.

Corning, NY(Zone 5a)

Very nice, I bet they gave you a BIG lift, they are so amazing.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Very pretty Patricia!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I hope they are still blooming when I come over, Patricia. I will know which ones to steal. LOL

All are beautiful but I expect that with your incredible garden. Everything is always just perfect!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Patricia, Waiting for the brugs to open is like waiting for Christmas when we were children. LOL Beautiful brugs and glad they are blooming well for you.

Earth Angel, Earth Angle, will you be mine?

Lizella, GA(Zone 8a)

"Love you all the time" when I see these beautiful brugs. I only hope they smell as wonderful as they look. I still have blooms, but the 30 temps will probably end them this week.
thanks for sharing,
Elaine

Thank Barbara, it is good to see you posting.

Elaine, my yard smells like a perfume factory in the early morning and evening. In fact it smells so good and strong that my husband who dislikes my brugs, but loves the fragrance in the evenings, has been trying to convince me that there must be someway I could process the leaves or flowers to get the oil out to produce a perfume, name Brugmansia. I keep telling him that I think that would be an unlikely name for a perfume, and I don't have any idea how you go about producing one.

This is one of the seedling I grew out hybernized by Brenda Delph.

I have had B. Facination for a couple years now. The first year it bloomed fine, this year it looked awful all summer and I almost tossed it. Once our cooler weather settled in, all of a sudden she started putting out new growth. This is the first bloom on her since Spring. This was taken in the greenhouse, so her color is pretty dark.

B. Chesa's last flower before I dig her up for the winter. I dusted some pollen on this bloom so I am going to hold off digging her as long as I possibly can.
