I had a fairly heavy infestation of whiteflies and also some mites on my plumerias, particularly the seedlings. I tried everythig and could not get rid of them. I finally broke down and bought some Avid. I sprayed twice, two weeks apart. Gone, vamoose!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee.

That's great, Lisa. Be sure to rotate it with something else next time you spray as mites can easily become immune to the current treatment. I rotate between Forbid, Avid, Neem, Isotox, and Safer's Insectidal Soap.

That is great ! It is pretty pricey stuff. Good info on the rotation. Mine developed a resistance to ortho Systemic. I imagine the cool temps had a big helping hand.
