bump! . . . oodles and oodles of this one left for anyone to have.

btw - this seed has the highest germination rate of all my tall butterfly attracting tropicals ... a bit over 95% . . . . and fast growing, too . . . right now my one month seedlings are 5" high.

easy to germinate: soak in warm (to your hand) water 12-24 hrs. sow 1/2" deep in your growing medium (i use seed starting mix), water from below until the first true leaves show, then water from above. transfer to containers - - without any visible stress, btw - - when the pups are 2-3" tall. keep in the sun. shelter them on winter days below 35 degrees. after the last spring frost, dig a hole in a full sun location, with 10-15 ft. to grow (eventually) and plunk them in it. water and then leave it alone. surprisingly draught tolerant.
