....just wondered if winding them up the way these are is better for them? I like the affect of the plant hanging but these came wound up on the stick

What a wonderful birthday present !! Just what a hoya addict needs. I think it's a matter of personal preference on your hoya's. I have a krimson queen that hangs and one that twines, same with my kerrii. Although I have to say the H. kerrii gets rather adventurous for me and I like it pinned up better than hanging loose. The australis looks beautiful on a trellis with all of it's flowers in bloom, but it hangs really well too.

Thanks TamiF.......When the branches continue to get longer since the arch is already full Im thinking of trying my hand at cutting and repotting. What do u think? Do u know what color the bloom will be?
