Just came across the above announcement for the International Butterfly Breeders Convention in DesMoines, IA coming up November 1-4 and thought some of our DG butterfly lovers would like to know about it. They are offering a discount for sign-ups, I believe.
I am not sure what the IBBA's mission is exactly, but I am sure the people attending will know lots about butterflies. I don't know if they grow butterflies for release, or science, or conservation, or just for personal satisfaction, but it could be interesting....
I notice there is a special presentation for beginners, too.
