I love Stinky. He's big and fuzzy and loving and tolerant and patient and funny and he has 6 toes on each front paw and we've had him since the day he was born and we also have his grandmother, Angel.
But, Stinky is a menace. :(
He will NOT stay in the house, no matter how hard we try, because with a house of 3 adults, 2 kids, 2 teenagers and constant young friends going in and out, someone is bound to be tricked or outrun by him.
The management has received numerous complaints. He's digging into trash, he's getting into porches, gardens, climbing on cars and leaving paw prints. And I've had two confirmed reports of him going into other people's yards and beating up their cats. He's a bully. YES HE'S FIXED....oy.
They've been patient, but now it's crunch time. We either get rid of the cat, or cage it, or leave the park.
I can't see any alternative except to find him a new home. :( I've even looked into those "shock" collars (electric invisible fences or whatever) but they seem cruel and not very useful for cats.
Before I break the hearts of everyone on our family (we've had him for 3 years and he's also the cuddliest, warmest, most purringly loving cat in the house) I thought I'd reach out for ANY ideas on how we can keep him contained in the house without being cruel????
Forced to find beloved Cat another home? :'(
