Antoinette, Do you have A. fimbriata? I can't remember if you mentioned it before or not. If not, I can send either plants or seeds.

Is it possible to make it go dormant (A. fimbriata)? I grew a few plants this summer and as I took them inside for overwintering, they lost old leave and sent new twigs. Since they have tubers I wondered if I could simply make them loose their leave and go dormant until next spring.

Thanks

Hi Jessmerritt, sending you a D-mail.

I was thinking about that too, I wasn't too sure if they had a tuber or not.
A.

I'm not sure about overwintering inside, as I grow it outside. If it is tuberous, then theoretically you could keep it dormant in a pot, the same as you would any tender bulb.

I'll have an answer for you next year. I received some seeds eariler this year and I'm leaving some outside to see if the winter kills them off and some are coming inside for next year.
