Ear infection/ear cleaner

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

I have a belgian sheepdog who is prone to ear infections. Costs about $100 each time for antibiotics/ear drops. I came across this webpage looking for alternatives and decided to give it a shot as she acquired another infection. First she had it in one ear and I treated just that ear. I saw alot of improvement in only 2 days. Then the other ear became infected and was red and painful. I started treatment on that ear also and within 2 days, the redness was gone and you could touch the ear without her yelping. The bad smell has also abated. I am going to keep her on the treatment and see if the infection completely clears up and if so, I will keep her on a routine schedule.

BTW, you may have a hard time finding the boric acid powder in local stores. Many stopped selling it due to it's illegal use with drugs. I had to order mine online.

Be sure to read the precautionary statement about not using it on ruptured eardrums.
