Hello darling Don. I don't read or post on this forum much anymore due to lack of time, but I just happened to be here today and saw this post. That is Epiphyllum pumilum, and you may have gotten it from me! It is one of my favorite epi's. Here's mine.

The fragrance is so sweet, and the flowers stay open until about noon for me.

Hi My dear,missed you!!!

Yes that is one I got from you,but it wasn't marked with the black marker like the rest of them,or it finally wore off,not sure either way!
And yes the flowers did stay open until about noon, and in fact they just started falling off the plant today!!!
I can't wait until mine is as big as yours, and get all those blooms!!!

Did you finish your classes?
Are you working now?
Hope the smoke and fires have missed you again...
Are plumies coming along ?
One I got from you is in bloom now.
Your favorite pink plumie wind blew over and broke it and I had to root the broken pieces again,so maybe next year for that one.
Take Care Dear.....

Hi Don!

I'm so glad that you got some blooms on this one. It is a species, and it blooms several times a year and is one that I won't ever part with. I love it!

We had a lot of smoke and ash here for several days, and the winds were just brutal, but we were at least 10 miles away from the Santa Rosa Fire and 20 miles away from the Malibu Fire. It has just been terrible seeing all that forest and those home burn. We've had one of the driest years on record, and more Santa Ana winds are supposed to be coming on Saturday.

All the plumies are doing great. I forget which plumie I sent you. Sorry to hear about the wind breaking your pink one. I had some breakage too with the recent winds.

I hope all is well with you and your family! All is well here. I'm still in training for my second career. I had to start and stop school a few times and am not working yet but soon!

Hugs...

Stay down wind of the smoke, because it travels upwind,I think I said that right?
