Thanks :o) They think the larval host is the screwbean mesquite but nobody has found any eggs, caterpillar or chrysalises. Screwbean mesquite doesn't grow abundantly down here but there are a few in the next county over and these metalmarks are usually sighted at Laguna Atascosa Park.
