Do passies blend well with other plants?

We have a Constance Elliott growing on the front of the house, yet to bloom (first year). We have now experienced what butterfly cats can do do passies and we're wondering if planting another vine with it would hide some of the ugliness. Do they play well with other plants? We have done this mixing climbing roses and clematis with good results. Any suggestions? No, we're not going to spray to kill the cats. :-)

Passies will strangle and try to climb the other plants and even thier own kin: in my opinion they do not play well with others lol. I am forever untangling the varieties that I plant close together. Some will be invasive and make new suckers next to the other plants as well. Maybe a climbing rose that has really thick stems might not get so strangled as a thin stemmed clematis? It would not be fun trying to untangle a passie and rose that has thorns though.....

Thanks, ATB. Guess we'll see how it goes.
