When I opened the photo, this certainly was not what I expected to see. I thought it was a little tree frog. Definitely not. What type of snake is it? Was this in your garden? If I came upon it suddenly I think I might be uttering a few four letter words. Excellent photo. Glad it is at your place & not mine though.

My Beautiful visiter is a carpet python . ( a local )
The Palm tree it is on is only ten m away from my front door .
I have created a Rain Forest around our house .
And they grow happily around here .
