I-Phone? thinking of getting one

I have been thinking of getting an I-Phone. Does anyone have one and want to share an opinion?

I carry a phone and a palm pilot now - phone needs new battery soon - so thinking of upgrading to I-Phone. My Palm is several years old, and won't last forever. The I-Phone seems a good alternative - as it can access web, is a phone, camera, etc all in one. I don't have an I-pod so that's an incentive too.

A man I work with has one and absolutely loves it.

I work on a Mac at home and at work - already have all my music in I-Tunes on the macs... All my contacts though, are in Palm Desktop on my mac, I don't use Apple's I-cal. But, seems like it would be easy to import the Palm info into the Apple software.

I must admit I like word games and backgammon on my Palm -- it has been the one thing that is keeping me from ordering the I-phone -- but it seems more games are available every day.

I will be ordering the new Leopard software, and probably I-Life -08. It is very tempting to add an I-phone onto the order!
