Green Tomato Pie???

A wonderful friend, who's family is originally from southern Indiana has been looking for a Green Tomato pie recipie. The pie was something an elderly aunt made when he was quite young, and she's been gone for more than 40 years. My friend's mother passed away more than 10 years ago, and while he went thru all her personal cookbooks, the recipie cannot be found. Can anyone help?? Thank You! Leslie
