ric rac question

Chesapeake, VA(Zone 7b)

I have a rooted cutting of a ric rac. It is getting long. It has what I'm guessing are aierial roots along it. How do I make this into a full pot. It this point I'm going to end up with a really long cutting/plant.
Thanks,
Dawn

Interesting question. I am waiting to see the answer for this. There are expert people here that I am sure will answer us.

It will eventually branch, but you can take cuttings, let them heal, and stick them back in the pot for a fuller plant.

Thanks Clare. Is it too late in the season to take cuttings now?

It is a houseplant there isn't it? I take cuttings of houseplants any time I feel the need. I have also rec. cuttings in the fall.

Hi Dawn, the best time to take and root cuttings is when the plant is actively growing in the spring or summer in my experience, but I have mine outdoors all year.

My one lonnng cutting is indoors. It is now tipping over b/c it is so long & the pot it's in is small.
