I ordered 100 double daffodil bulbs from Blooming Bulb. About half of the daffodil bulbs are rotten and moldy to the point of being unsalvageable. I have attempted to salvage what is remaining, as all of them have some degree of mold beneath the outer layers of the bulbs. I put them in a 10% bleach solution for about 10 minutes and I tried to scrub off the mushy parts with a vegetable scrubber. Now they are drying out.
What else can I do to treat them? I don't want to plant them for about another month.
Edited to add: I have notified Blooming Bulb and I am waiting to hear back from them. So far, they have been very good to deal with and I am sure that they will stand behind these bulbs.

Moldy daffodil bulbs....
I feel your pain. I hope you weren't all ready to plant before you discovered it. I ordered 30 Camassia from Brent & Becky's, and was all ready to plant when I discovered 10 had the condition you describe above. I called them right away and they shipped replacements out immediately, but obviously I couldn't finish my planting that day. It can be a little frustrating, that's for sure, but I suppose can happen to any company and any bulb.
Laura, I think you've done everything that I'd recommend. I've had bad bulbs from reputable companies, too, so it must just be one of those things...
I've dealt with BB too, and they've always provided excellent customer service. I was just looking at their website last night, as they have a sale going on with some of their bulbs... 5 cent snow crocus... yum!
