Here is New Orleans Lady.. not quite in full bloom yet.
There's No Place Like Home
Beautiful Joyce! I love my CDW too, it was my first Brug, and once it gets going, seems to be a continuous bloomer...
Very nice, Joyce!! What a shame it is with the broadmites and Butterfly. I was so close to just ditching mine earlier this year. :( I love your NOL, very pretty! Ok, actually all of yours are putting on quite the show for you.
That first seedling is pretty cool. I like how the flower is shaped with a "pointy" look before going into the tendril. What is that cross?
Thank you Teresa.. I'm so tickled that the brug forum here is really rockin now! :)
Felicia.. that is one of Brenda's crosses (Tiara x Susanne) x Earth Angel. That is my first one that was slightly nodding and waxy.. I love that! It also has a light sweet perfume scent.. I love that too.
I like the nodding blooms too. It's a nice one.
Seeing all of your seedlings reminds me that I really need to start some seeds again soon! I've got 6 seedlings, but only the 2 are going to bloom this year (still holding onto their buds!).
Yeah, it's good to see that everyone is having a gorgeous fall blooming fest!
So pretty! Thanks for sharing.
ZZ, LOOK at you! So pretty! All of them.
I always liked Whiskers. The way she hangs and her fragrance were my favorite things about her.
I liked the tendrils on Whiskers..maybe I can get one some day.
ZZ,
I am in agreement with Teresa....those Candida Double Whites just keep on blooming.......great pics, great plants.....your hard work really shows in your pics....
This really is the good time of year in California. I took a short cut down a side road on the way home from work and saw what I think might be a Charles Grimaldi in full flush. I almost got into an accident rubber necking. It makes a nice landscape plant in this climate! I'll have to drive down that street more often.
Joyce, your's are really going great! You're right - it's rocking here now!
Mary
Beautiful pics! I'm so happy to see your NOLA Lady. I just planted one and won't see blooms until next year, but now I'm sure anxious!
Love your NOL shot. I just went out and gave my NOL mother plant a good talking to. She has Y's and subequal leaves all over the place. She made a tiny bud and it dried up when it got really windy last week. I been feeding her and still nada ...at this rate her 3 babies will bloom B4 she does. Your whiskers is so purty.
Thank you everyone! This is sooo fun.. online and outside..smiling all day.. Thankz again for the kind words.
*eyes bonked out wide* HOLY MOLY! Lookit all of your blooms! You lucky girl. Must be a super treat walking around in all of that loveliness!
Dorothy, I mean ZZ -- I hope you clicked your ruby slippers 3 times when you chatted "There's No Place Like Home." ;-)
Aahhh! There's that brug sniffing Toto!
Looking good Joyce ! I am so excited because my two that looked the worst while you were here starting to look better and loaded with blooms.
Thank you Patricia! That is good news! I'm so glad to hear it! We want pics ya know!! With your awesome yard, you can rock the brug forum big time!
In about a week or so, Rosamond is gonna absolutely explode.. It's gonna be so grand.. she is so HUGE and I've been saying it looks like she is loaded with bunches of bananas!
I can't WAIT to see Rosamond's bananas!
I bet they will be very a-peeling! ;-)
a-peeling...giggle
ZZ, beautiful pics!
I especially like your doggie. :)
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're a great brug grower! And I saw a shiny truck in the first pic! NICE! The tires look brand new!
