is there a term for people who breed and raise poultry and fowl as a hobby?

hi, i was wondering what I shojuld do with my chickens. They're pets and we sell they're eggs. we have 3 and they are leghorns. 1 is arooster and the rest are hens. we also have a big fat one.....we think he is a rock or something. Do we need to put vaseline on all of they're cones? It's cold out with snow now, will they freeze when they leave the hutch?
