Just keep an eye on her for a little while! How old is she, has she layed an egg before or could this be her first time laying?
If she is old enough to lay just let her alone and watch her for a few hours! If it is her first egg she will pass it and it will have a bloody tinge(normal), . If she hasnt gotten an egg in a couple of hours, and is still straining, place her in a warm water bath. this will relax her ,and help to open her vent so the egg can pass.
If her spit up is clear , dont worry on it! Sometimes newbies at laying ,like other animals giving birth, will clear their stomachs.
I hope everything goes well! I am sorry that this is all that I know to do! I do not believe in interfering with invasive or aggressively when a Chick(Chook) gets ill, for I do not have any medical training for Chick emergencies! If she persists on Straining for long try to call a Chick Vet. and get her there soon! Good luck!!

Oh my Sweetie! Im sooooo sorry! I know how it feels to lose your Chickies! Ive lost many ...but I have also raised a bunch of silly good ones too! Our hearts are just so torn when we lose them, it makes you wonder if you should keep going with the others! Well , the answer is YES!!!!
You will learn more and more as you go! Everyday is a challenge but everyday also can give you the biggest silliest smiles, just watching our babies!
