Purple Magic hybrid baby..

This is a cross of Purple Magic X Pele's Fountain.

Has 8+ inch flowers, nice upright growth, heavy textured blooms. A few spots and a deep eye.

My Purple Magic looks like it has a white edge around it now. I'm sure it has something to do with being in the basement under lights.

Purple Magic is supposed to have a white edge around it--mine did too and other pics I've seen of it had the edge too.

Shoot, maybe I just never noticed it before. I'll have to go look at my pictures.

In one or two of the pictures I can see a faint white edge, but the one in the basement has a very noticeable edge to it. This one is not noticeable.

These are my favorite of the hibiscus. Of course being a grower for many years, this has been the one that has grown on me.
