Today Pixydish, Murmur, Rachierabbit, HostaJim, Tillysrat and Gwendalou went to Dragonfly Farms Nursery. The owner Heidi Kaster gave us a delightful tour (we called ahead) and is incredibly knowledgeable about all of her hundreds of plants. She purchased many plants from Heronswood Nursery when they closed thier doors. She has all kinds of unique and hard to find plants. The website is http://www.dragonflyfarmsnursery.com/index.html
The motto of the nursery is "Where Abnormality is the Normality!"
I have been to many nurseries thoughout the state and this is by far one of the best!
The nursery is open March to October -- Fridays & Saturdays 9am - 5pm
Sundays 9am - 4pm

My favourite qoute from Freud: 'A plea for a measure of abnormality' - his point was that if you analyze everything, you lose the creativity - judging from the photos he is absolutely right - just looks delightful. Keep the fun in gardening! Goodness knows it is the only way you move one more barrow load of rocks.
