I have cuttings from Brugs: Cuba, Dr. Suess, Versicolor Peach, Peach, and Pink. I also have several Tropical Hibs and seed for some hardy Hibs. I couldn't find a pic for the costus but know that I would like the Striped Beauty Canna. LMK.
Anne
Anne here is the costus in plantfiles, I love it but it's not hardy. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/53322/
what hibiscus do you have?
Maybe I should change this thread to..."Please take these before they are composted, I'll take about any perennial I don't have"---except for the costus...lol
El Capitalio: Red and Peach, a noid double peach, Red Celia (a red double), Butterfly, Mrs. Jimmy Spangler, a variegated leaf single red whose name I forget at the moment but will get you this evening, and a few others that I'll have to look at to see if they're ready to take cuttings from. I really have to start writing this stuff down. lol Or just stop buying more, yeah like that's going to happen. lol
Anne
I like the butterfly and el capitalito will these be rooted? If not I may need to ask you to root them for me, but I can go ahead and send yours..lol....so you want the striped beauty...do you want the costus? It is hardy to zone 9, you may be able to push it
Naw not the costus, the striped would be fine. No they're not rooted. Do you want one of each of the capitalios?
That would be great...would you mind rooting them? I can send your cannas...you really should try Ambassador, it is the most vigorous canna I've grown, it gets tall brugundy leaves and flowers constantly
Sounds great. Thanks.
if you decide to compost i would love those items we talked about for postage:)

I am interested in javanica (sp?) but idon't think it's the best time of year....
Hey Kara you ready for another trade? I have some new addition's, check my photobucket not all my plants but this is all the ones I have photographed, still making additions. Let me know I am just around the corner. So no s&h...lol I have been limiting myself to no more than 1 trade per week. Just an fyi That white ginger rhizome you gave me way back in june just started growing a week or two ago. Thought about throwing it out & it was just starting to grow. I have tons of banana's now, although I only have a few that could be traded, Orinoco's & Velutina's. Will have more next season after they pup out.

JanLynn, I do still have ambassador, but my back is going to break if I dig anymore...lol...it's time to dig non-hardy bananas, gingers, etc here. If you'll dmail me next spring, though, I'm sure we can work something out :)
