Brugs are coming inside!

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

I can't risk losing any to frost, so they're coming inside.

Noooooo!!!! It's too soon!!!!

It looks great, Teresa. We started to move them inside last week and finished yesterday. Here is a week ago. It is so crowded inside now.

Felicia, do you really think it's too early? They've mentioned "frost" a couple of times now and it makes me nervous. I still have a few outside, but my favourites are now inside.

Wow Tonny! That looks fabulous!

My garage is pretty packed. I brought Xena indoors over a week ago, and she's just now Y'ed, showing a tiny bud! I hope I get to see a flower! ;-)

No, Teresa, all I meant is that it is always too early to have to bring the brugs in, no matter when it is. :) I hate for you that they are mentioning "frost" in your forecasts. :(

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

LOL Ok, I getcha! Yes, they've mentioned it twice, but it hasn't happen thankfully. I just don't wanna be caught!

Here's a close up of the variegated leaves of Sunset in the hall.

Is that the new door Teresa? Such a nice cozy place for Sunset.. the leaves look great! Hopefully she will bloom in there for you.

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

Nope, that's not the new door. The new door is on the bathroom. This is hallway. ;-)

teresa, when do yall get the first frost? when i lived in 8a, we didn't hear that word untilthe middle of november

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

Well, it's hard to say. We've had frost in October before, although, it's rare. The weather is wonky, so I'm being careful!

I haven't mowed my lawn for the past 2 weekends, cuz it's too wet. Of course, the longer I let it go... the thicker and longer it is and the wetter it will be.

Grrrrrrrrr!

Snow for us, is a rarity. It may snow, but stays for only a day or so... or maybe a few hours.

Usually, around my place, it looks like dandruff on the grass.... but then again... this was last year.... even though it didn't last long...

( I LOVE snow, but not for more than a couple of days!)

That is a gorgeous picture!
I love the snow -- if it's enough to amount to something -- like in your picture. It's so quiet, peaceful and picturesque. Then there's sledding and snowball fights, and most importantly -- NO SCHOOL for my daughter, which means, I have to stay home too!! :) Now, put that all together with someone you care about, a cup of hot chocolate (or Brandy Alexander), curtains open so you can watch the snowfall, good music or conversation or movie, and you're all set!!

Sounds fabulous, Felicia! You narrated a great snowy day.

That humongous snowfall gave me a day off. That's a bonus! No one is expected to drive in snow. Taking the day off and snapping some shots is kind of fun.

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

We already had a frost here. It was a flukey little cold front that came through. Now it's back up in the 70's. It is interesting, My Pink Sauv didn't like it at all and is still slumped over but I have Super Nova and a Yellow sdlg that didn't mind it at all..
