Picked up this serpent fern this morning at a Master Gardener sale. In the plant sale madness, I noticed that the fern had what looked like a caladium in it too. Now that I'm home and doing inspections, I'm not so sure it is a caladium. Maybe it's a different type I've never seen. ????

Hi ladies, that was a bargain! Pretty caladium and big. That serpent fern... tell me more about it.. I notice a leaf coming out the bottom of the pot.. it puts out runners?
AuntB, yes, I think this is going to be runner. I was going to go outside and do another inspection, maybe take another picture, but it is pouring outside, YAY! I need to do a little more research on the fern, find out what it likes before I find a place for it.
