What about today?

Okay. The moon is in the first quarter, and in Scorpio: "A water sign. Very fruitful and moist. Best planting sign for sturdy plants and vines. Tomatoes like to be transplanted in Scorpio, and it is a good sign for corn and squash... A good sign for irrigation and transplanting.

That was a direct quote from www.gardeningbythemoon.com from the "signs" portion.

I need to transplant a pomegranate, three blueberries, and a rather large aloe vera. Seems to me this is a good day for it. Any comments? Suggestions?

DUSTY WHERE ARE YOU?????????

I was checking through stuff, and Magpye's calendar said to transplant October 11 - 18! So I'm going to move these things this afternoon.

I'll report how it turns out.

I'm talking to myself again, aren't I?

Yes, you are. Stop it.

Just for those of you viewing but afraid I'll put a curse on you if you post a reply, I did plant those blueberries on the 12th. So far (and that's not very far, I'll admit) they seem to be very happy.

Ha!
I hadnt seen this post but did the last of my cuttings for overwintering back then. They are doing fine. Good to know I was on track.... Would love to grow some pomegrante should I just buy one and save the seeds?

Not afraid of curses:-)

I ordered this pom, and it is a dwarf variety. I wouldn't know about starting them from seed, but if I ever get fruit off this one, I'll give it a shot.

(Good you're not afraid -- they only work if you're afraid of them!)
