Although I'm not in this forum as often, I'm proud of my beautiful brugs. I've only got three, with one more "stick" started, but I think they're pretty :-)

Here's a full version of Charles Grimaldi. My backyard smells just heavenly :)
Even though I'm a hibiscus girl, I love my brugs too!
Wow!! What beautiful photos! I love the tropical look to the second pic of CG.. sooo nice! Thank you for sharing!
I like all your photos but the first one with the whole CG tree is really impressive. WOW!
Wow! Gorgeous, and amazing how much Velvet Rose grew in a year. You're obviously doing something right! Please do show pictures of Genevieve when she blooms. Hope you will be happy with her!
Great pictures. Love that Charles Grimaldi tree. Too bad you don't have any trunks to work with. LOL! The base of that thing is huge. Nice trees. I bet your neighbors love your yard. I would.
I don't know if they do or not, we pretty much keep to ourselves. The man that lives on one side (the side with the CG) is not a very nice person; I did however hear that he hates waterfalls, as told to someone else after we finished our backyard ;-)
You're right about the trunks, they are huge -I'm constantly trimming that tree otherwise it would take over my whole yard ;-)
Thanks for the compliments :-)
I could think of worse things than to have a Brug take over your yard!
Beautiful Brugs!
What kind of person hates waterfalls?!
Aaaaahhhhh! Lovely! Thanks for showing us your brugs. They are wonderful!
They are all lovely!
What climate does one need to live in for the brugmansias to be hardy???? I have three growing in pots........i am near the coast (15 miles away).............we might get one or two nights down to 30 but it doesn't last more than an hour.....
thanks
Gessie, I would think you would be fine, although I'm certainly no expert. The CG was planted in the ground about three years ago, and although it doesn't like the cold and wind, it certainly comes back fine here for me - I think our temperatures (except last winter) are probably pretty similar. I live in inland Southern California.
thanks so much...............since they are in pots......i will leave them out with a sheet or something on cold nights and next spring, they are going in the ground...........Yours are magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
