So far I haven't received a catalog since last Sept., and that was for fall tulip bulbs. Of course I do expect a mail box full come Jan-Mar. Unfortunately there are too many from companies who have a Black Eye with Dave's Garden members. Those I throw away. I don't even request them to remove me from their list. They cost me too much money from their sad products and failure to exercise customer complaints rationally.
Let them spend their money uselessly as they caused me to throw mine away.

i luv catalogs throughout the winter months.
I get all kinds of daylily magazines and hope to get a few hosta ones this yr
along with all those darn seed catalogs

I got my Austin one yesterday too I love to look at the plants and there is some usefull info in them I do like to get them I dont always order but I dont order from most all the other ones I get for clothes and stuff I never dreamed of LOL

they make colorful fire starters! LOL.
i am now (when i do laundry with the dryer) using
the lint left overs and putting them in egg carton
paper ones, and dripping some left over wax saved
from candles. Makes wonderful fire starters too.

yes it does. just put one or two in under the logs
and the lint/wax burns for a long hot time and will
get the logs going.
If I had more kids, then I would have more laundry
and therefore, more lint,,,but after raising my
7, and caring for my friends 4 at the same time,
I don't think I want to have any more kids. I'm done.

very pretty not martha... i like the idea of the bowling ball.... those catalogs usually are way to expensive. $449 boots? wow... i havent recieved any yet (catalogs). im sure i will. they are kinda fun to look at when it is blizzarding outside. i usually dream and start writting down a wish list then i shredd it!!!!! i can find the plants so much cheaper around here.
