Last night our pump for the bio-filter died on us.
We were able to rescue some of the water lettuce and hornwort we had in there (stock-tank biofilter that came with the water garden that came with the house).
Hadn't thought about the pump except to consider replacing it with something more energy efficient next year.
Should we go ahead and research and install a new pump now or could we wait until the Spring?
I'll start searching archives, and if anyone has any other suggestions or sites that would help with the research, please let me know.
Our water garden is a very old concrete garden, approximately 24" water depth in the center and 12x14 feet, with just the stock-tank biofilter.
Thanks,
Teresa

WHERE are you? How many fish? How many plants? Is it basically clean already? Are you feeding?
