I found this in the same abandoned garden in Kauai.
The leaf is about 40", somewhat cupped, and is bluish-green with yellowish green veining. The plant is 4.5 ft. high.

Need ID of Xanth
Looks similar to one I have under the name palmera which is not a true species name. I thought it might be a form of atroverins or robustum but still not sure. The guy I got it from considered it could be a hybrid? this group is a mess.
The garden where I found it was a mess, so perhaps it hybridized there.

This one shares the same cupped up leaf form. But it seems change a bit as it matures specially with stem coloration.
Same plant. It can get much larger than this also.
