After having heart surgery i had to down grade and just kept my very favorite babies. I used to have over one hundred fowl and lots of goats and things. now this is what i have gotten back from a friends farm who kept them safe for me until i moved and recovered. First is Izzy my sweet pygmy and she should be having her little one soon. I raised her from a baby and used to carry her in a diaper bag.

My Babies
I bet she attracted a lot of attention toted around in the bag. It's hard to resist a baby goat !!!

What a sweetie! Some friends of my daughters just got three baby goats. They are so darn cute!
I love her! She follows me on wood walks and sits in my lap like a dog. I tie her out on a dog lead connected to concrete blocks and she keeps all the weeds and brambles down for me. When the spot starts to get bare i move her to a new spot. The goats are great weed eaters! With winter coming on she and her husband will have to go into a pen and then its only hay and grain, but they still get to go on walks with me. She has had only one kid so far and it was at my friends farm so this time around i get to be with her for this birth. I hope its twins.

Oh Congratulations! I hope you get to be there when she gives birth, it is always so exciting! I have never owned a pygmy but have had Oberhaasli, Saanan and Nubians. A friend of ours had a pygmy which gave birth to a single kid and she was sooo tiny! Have fun with her!!
