I'm usually really careful but I was pulling off some leaves this morning and squirt! Right in my eye. Now I have read of this happening before but have never done it myself, so what should I do??
This happened at about 9am this morning and I flushed it for a few minuets and about 10 minuets later I did it again but here it is after 2pm and my eye is still dilated. Should I be worried? Should I see a Doctor?
Brug Juice in the Eye!
ewww! I hate when that happens! I just waited it out when it happened to me. I guess there's not really that much that you can do. :(
I'm sorry that happened to you Caren! It is kinda scary. I think we have all gotten zapped at one time or another.. I hope your feeling better by now.. I just let it wear off and there were no problems when I got squirted..
I got some on my lips one time too.. it tastes terrible! I think I spit like 240 times in one minute.. LOL I was so freaked out.. but I was okay.
I have had it happen too, took over 30 hours to go back to normal. Wear sunglasses if outside, your eye can not constrict to protect itself. Sorry this happened.
I thought it only lasted a few hours so I was a little freaked out when it wasn't going away. I'm still dilated now but it is getting a bit smaller now. This morning there was only a thin ring of blue left to my eye now there is almost as much eye color as pupil.
I must have looked like Marilyn Manson walking around today LOL! I sure did get some weird looks!
Caren!
Caren, You nut....LOL, Marilyn Manson :) Glad you eye is getting better.
Dollie
All back to normal now...well, as normal as I can get lol ;o)
Glad its all better now. I would think that with no other signs or symptoms it would be okay. Just for general reference :The one thing I would think about when anyones pupils are dilated, is not to look into direct sunlight, because since the muscles controlling the dilation of the pupil are not able to constrict it due to the pharmacological/brug juice effect, it could be harmful to have that much direct light go inside of the eye. When we normally have bright light in our eyes the pupils normally constrict. In darkness the pupils dilate to allow more light into the eye to aid vision. Wearing sunglasses when outside should probably help. Not sure about vision specifics, but have heard that it can be affected when pupils are in a dilated state and your pupil is not focusing correctly.
Hi everyone! Hopefully Heavenscent's eye is totally recovered now. The worst I ever was (not from Brug juice but from the eye doctor) was three days. Wow did he overdialate me!! Anyway.. I was going to say that normally the issue with vision when you are dialated is near or reading vision. The little muscles that help your inner lens accomodate for near are paralyzed along with the iris muscles.
