take a look at the picture....that limb that starts at the bottom and twist up.....should it be cut?? or leave it? I guess if it's cut off, I'd have several cuttings to start....
Advice....help....??
That's a limb and not another plant? Was someone trying to train it that way -- the braided look?
I'd cut it, and root it, because it looks like it's already trying to compete for sun, and I dont think it could grow to its full potential that way because the trunks do get larger. Then again, that's just me. Maybe someone with more experience will come along and help with this one. :)
I think it needs to be cut.....I just didn't know if the whole thing would root or if I should cut it down low and then take cuttings out of the top of it......??
And no.....it just grew that way....looks kinda neat but I think the plant will do better if it's removed....I think?
I would cut it at the bottom. It looks like it has formed a "Y," so you don't want to cut the top off. If the branches at the top are long, and you want to trim some of that off, you could do that, but don't cut any further down than the 6th node from the beginning of the stem, that allows for some die back without too much worry about losing your "Y."
