Bloom starved all summer, and now the fall season has finally begun! Buds on Painted lady will probably bloom next week. Jamie has a couple buds that are about 3 inches long. You're looking at Tiara which has so-so blooms. She's never bloomed as nicely for me as she has for some others. Candida Double white has a few blooms that are singles. There's one bloom on Mountain Magic which is in a paler fall color than she was in the spring. Still beautiful in any shade of pink. Her sister Mountain Treasure will put on a show in about a week. Even Desiree has a couple buds on it.
Gee, I should have raked up the leaves and dead blooms before taking a picture. Can I blame it on intoxication from Brugmansia scents?! Opps!
At last - the show begins
That looks absolutely gorgeous!! And, I know the smell when you go outside has got to be overpowering!! I'm anxious to see Desiree when she blooms for you, please post pictures of her!
Funny thing, I didn't even notice dead leaves and blooms!! :)
Thought I replied to this. Maybe it was another of your threads. Can't wait to see you with a ton of blooms on your plants. You have waiting long enough. It's your turn. Hoping they all make you really happy.
Oooh! The fragrance must be lovely ☺
Beautiful Mary. Happy for you. I'm just now getting lots and lots of blooms, probably better, enjoy them fast, frost due in Sat/Sunday!

Happy today, and will be even happier tomorrow night. Painted Lady is opening some blooms and she always has a nice drifting scent. Ahhhh! I hope I can get off work on time tomorrow so I can take a photo.
I love bloom pictures! Your Painted Lady is gonna explode! How fun!
I really enjoyed my Painted Lady this year. Mountain Magic hasn't bloomed a lot this year. She is blooming right now, but is so ratty looking after the winds that I'm not taking pictures. She isn't dark either. It's pretty cool here now. It's sure going to be pretty at your place for the next week or more.
Oh my GOSH! It must be heavenly walking around there! Everything looks fantastic! ♥
Looking good, Mary. I really like Painted Lady. She did so well for me in the full sun that I'll be growing her again.
I've got her on the edge of the shade cover so she gets sun for half the day. I won't be able to fit her in the greenhouse this year, so I've got a smaller clone that will go inside, just in case of another freaky frost here.
The mystery brug will soon reveal itself. This plant had died (or so I thought) and the pot had been tossed aside to an area where I hide my pots, dirt, and a few other supplies. It was even on it's side and wasn't getting any water. Around June I noticed some green growth, so I started watering it lightly and brought it back into the fold. I bought 10 pots just like the one it was in, so I can't tell much from that. The tag was completely bleached out by the sun.
great pics and plants

Too cool... I can't wait to see who it is... I have one like that, but it wasn't totally gone, just that I didn't tag it just knowing I'd remember! LOL Yeah right.. that's flattering myself a little toooo much!
Oh Mary, you are going to love to looks of Jamie when she gets heavy with blooms. She's a looker, for sure.
wow very nice well done........
Very pretty, Mary! I bet you are just in brug heaven with all the gorgeous blooms, and the overwhelming scents now!! Shame the brugs don't do this all year long!!
Very nice Mary. I'm so glad you have blooms after what you and your plants have been through.
Oh my, I hope it didn't filter into the house too. You do need a good rain to clean the plants off.
Oh my gosh! It must have been totally freaky being so close to the fires! I'm glad you're ok.
Desiree is awesome!
Wow.. your Miner's Claim is soooo pretty! They all are!
