Sulphur in the Cypress.

This Sulphur was taking it's time with this Cypress vine flower. As it's head was inside the flower, it didn't see me and fly off like usual.

That's a good one. Did your Sulphurs seem larger in size this year? I grow Cypress vine also and it really attracts them.

They seem about normal. We have too many Cypress and it spreads the Butterflies a bit.

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 8b)

I love the Sulphurs, they're so cheery and dizzying when they fly. They have swarmed over my Humminbird Bush, Hamelia patens, this year. They fly so erratically, I don't know how they keep from flying into each other.

I've tried taking a pic but the yellow just doesn't show up very well.
