Mozilla's Thunderbird stopped working.

Last Thursday, McAfee downloaded the latest 'patch' to my security system - and Mozilla quit working.
When I click on any folder, including the inbox I get a message that says "This folder is being processed. Please wait until processing is complete to get messages". Of course the process is NEVER complete. I miss this program and getting my email through Comcast's e-mail program.

Does anyone know if McAfee or Mozilla is making a 'fix'?
