CLOSED: Hollyhocks

I'm really not sure where to post this. It is not really a seed trading question. I have collected my many colors of Hollyhock seeds. Do I now cut the plants down to neer soil level? Thanks

I usually cut the tall stalks off and remove any ugly or torn leaves. Some of them are perennials and the foliage will keep green all winter.

I cut the stalks off....this year they all bloomed again!!!
