CLOSED: Merremia Dissecta (woodrose) SASBE

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

I have seven envelopes of Merremia Dissecta. This is one of the woodrose vines. So named because the pod resembles a wood rose.

I also have and would be happy to include;
4 o clocks (kaleidescope/yellow/white mix)
tangerine crossvine
blue columbine
blue/white agapanthus

First come first serve. Will need to be a bubble envelope as the merremia seeds are the size of a pea and round.

THANK YOU :-) I had bought some woodrose when we went to Hawaii in 06 but someone said it was a drug or something, then they went missing and I still have never found them.. Oh well what's a planter to do????

There will be more. Must be another thirty pods or so on the vine right now. Here is what the pods looks like before it opens up into the "wood rose".

This one is different than the Hawaiin Woodrose. I also have one of those but have yet to have a bloom on it and it is about three years old.

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

That is really cool looking... Well if I ever get back to Hawaii in my life time I will get you some more and maybe those will bloom? I thank you very much :-)
Susan

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Well thank you. The Hawaiin Woodrose that I have is huge. the vine is growing all over the front of my house, but no flowers. The merremia is a decent size and is full of blooms .

They are really beautiful. Can I be put on the list for some of the next ones that ripen? Thanks!

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Absolutely! I will drop them off the next time I come through on my way to my hometown, Slocomb!!!

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Are they easy to root? Should I root now or wait for spring? The ones I had from Hawaii looked very much the same if I remember right, but I am allot times brain dead so not 100%
