Cape Cod Violetry - Anyone know about this Company?

(Zone 1)

Does anyone know anything about this company? I sent a check for a copy of their catalog in early summer and got it back a couple of weeks ago with a sticker on the envelope saying: Forwarding date expired?! Does anyone have experience with this company and do you know if they have closed? I went to Garden Watchdog and there have been no reviews in over a year.

Hi plantladylin,

I don't have any experience with this company, but I just checked in the Sept.-Oct. issue of the AVM and they still have an add in it. It says----for a catalog in Adobe Acrobat Email ccviolets@msn.com or send $2.00. Their phone number is (508) 993-2386. Hope that helps.

Lin..................they are a very strange company..............wonderful things they offer..........when they are "on" they are very on..........and when they are "off" they don't even return emails or fulfill orders....................because of this, I get everything now from violetshowcase out of Colorado...........wonderful fast service and very reasonable.............I just buy the pots by the hundreds..................maybe someone closeby could split orders with you.....................

I just got another catalog from Violet Showcase and I think I'm going to order some pan pots and supplies. Very reasonable prices!

I turned in an order yesterday morning...............may not have any money left for the Oct. sale..........love that place.............I hate to be a bad influence on you...........but I have discovered that the seaweed used as a very diluted foliar spray is nothing short of a miracle............I have always burned my baby leaves and plants with strong fertilizer.......this stuff is awesome................I just run around spraying everything in the house with it........

i always learned that it is a good way to rehydrate leaves before you stick them............last night i soaked all night in a zip lock gallon bag some strep leaves with a little of the seaweed and about 3 drops of super thrive.................

Does the Seaweed stuff have an odor Gail? I don't want anything that might attract our Cats to nibble on the plants!

no, it has been purified someway..............I don't notice anything horrible.............hoping it doesn't stain my walls, etc..............as I a have a good time spraying everthing in sight..........
