Tiara first blooms just opening

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

Tiara has definitely earned a larger pot! She just started blooming tonight and has 4 blooms so far. But, when I open my back door, I can smell her all the way from the opposite end of my patio. She's got such a wonderful lemony scent -- almost, but not quite like Whiskers. I've got Tiara right next to Day Dreams, and without even looking at the progress of Day Dreams blooms, I walk straight to Tiara because she looks like whipped cream -- pure, white, fluffy whipped cream.

Sorry, I didn't get any sleep last night so I'm sounding a bit goofy now, but here's a few pictures of her tonight. Hopefully, her inner skirt will drop more tomorrow....

That is so beautiful, and you're right, she does look like whipped cream!!

Such a pretty one. Now, if Daydreams does its' job, you might get some double pinks, that smell like Tiara next year.

She's LOVELY, very soft and graceful looking, I like her! Daydreams is my "crush" right now, course, I like pink. But I like the white ones, too. And peach and yellow.....lol

Thanks much. :) She is a very crisp, graceful white, even right now in the full sun.

Last night I put Painted Lady and Mountain Magic pollen on her. I think Whiskers is going to bloom tonight, so I am definitely going to dab Tiara with that too (that's also my 10 year old daughter's request). Hopefully, these will take.

Bonnie, I've got a "crush" on Day Dreams too! And Adeline! Both have buds coming out of the calyx now, so it's just a matter of days before I can actually see and smell them in person. :) Yellow and peach are nice too. ;)

I'm going out and smell my bloomers right now! Ah, I love a late autumn!

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

Thanks much! I do really like her, and her scent is awesome. Shame she's still so small, but that'll change next year. :)

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

I like the small ones! I don't have that much room. She is really pretty Felicia.. I LOVE brug scent! Sounds dreamy!

Actually, I meant she's still a baby. :) See Day Dreams in this picture? That's Tiara underneath her in the lower right-hand corner.

Your tiara is gorgeous. Nice that she has a great fragrance. My Tiara is still small too, don't know if I will get blooms on that one this year or not.
Nice photo of daydreams too.

Oh, wow. Except for double white Species I'll be getting in a trade, I don't have a SINGLE white one.... And Tiara is MOST beautiful..... I'll have to put it on my list for next Spring... I love everything about it! And I'm still in love with Day Dreams, (cuttings rooting right now).. I KNEW I wouldn't get out of this thread without putting Tiara on my list! Thanks for enabling!

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

Thanks much. I'm very happy with her -- except she looks kinda yucky when the blooms die, but what do you expect with a white? :)

Congrats on your Day Dreams cutting, Bonnie!! If Tiara were bigger, I'd send you a cutting, but as you can see, Day Dreams pretty much dwarfs her. There's always next year, though. And, it's my pleasure to enable, since many enabled me last year, that's for sure!!
