I'm happy to meet my new "family"

This web site is new to me, but I can see already that it is going to dwarf my ebay time. :) I am addicted already! I love to garden and have the perfect setting for it, plus, plenty of yard. My husband hates to mow, so the more I plant, the happier he will be. Unfortunately, we have a lot of shade in the back yard, so I am somewhat limited in what I can plant and where I can plant it. I'm big into hostas, wisteria, crepe myrtle, phlox, jasmine (confederate and carolina), lantana, mexican heather and of course, azaleas. At last count, I had 25 plants, though it is hard to tell since some of them have grown into their neighbors. I have a lot of questions about many things, so you'll be seeing me pop up in various forums.

Welcome! So glad you could make it to DG! Pull up a chair and the beverage of your choice and jump on in! I found it helpful when I first started to go back to the beginning of a few threads and forums and learned a whole lot about the company I was in here. We have a wide assortment of personalities and levels of expertise and the most important thing is to relax and enjoy! Pipe right up with your comments and questions too! No one here bites....well, maybe a nibble now and then at your funny bone, but it only hurts when ya laugh too hard~

Welcome Smiln32, from the Lone Star State! So glad to hear someone else jumped right in. We have allot in common, ebay, used to spend to much there, now I'm free to buy more and more and more plants! My DH doesn't miss a blade of grass either. Looking forward to chatting with you and seeing you around DG.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. Please be patient with me if I ask silly questions. I'm enjoying myself immensely, but don't have a clue at times about what I'm doing. I think God has just blessed me with the right yard and conditions at the right time.
