WOW!! I have never been down to Vidalia.......I wish I could get down there but I don't think my hubby would drive for 4-5 hours for chickens, LOL. I am about 40-45 miles east of Atlanta near Loganville. How has the weather been there??

Eatonton, GA(Zone 8b)

Awwwwwwwwwwwww!
Hey Bubbles! I wish I had known about this earleir! I just went down to my Parents last weekend.............inVidalia!!!! Or at least 5 miles from there anyway! It only takes 2 hours for me to get to their home from Eatonton! I go straight to Dublin on 441 and then take I-16 to Highway 1 and There you are! Maybe we can get with Good Ole Dixie in Vidalia and see if we can make a trip together to pick up Chicks!!!! (oops...! :0} )

LOL, yeah, I bought them last weekend when you were down at your parents. It was our first trip to the Gray Auction and after all the problems we had don't know if anyone wants to go back. I am always up for a road trip!!! Dixie, could you find out if he has any roo's and/or hens for sale and let me know the price?? I also need a little BB hen for Beanie.......LOL, I think he is falling in love with the RIRs and the G.S. hens, LOL!!!

Those auctions can be a mess to bring home, I've gotten my share of sick birds. Now I try to go before the sale and look at everything first. Plus they have it set up like a yard sale in the mornings and you can see and buy everything that way too.

I'll try to call the man down here and see what he has, if not today then tomorrow.
How big is your BB rooster ?

Monroe, GA

He is a tiny little thing (LOL, he has soooooo much personality though!!). Eufaula has a hen for Beanie but if I can find one or two more I am SURE he would be in chicken heaven on cloud 9!!!
