Viola, TN(Zone 6b)

We had a friend in our small community who lost her home suddenly due to fire. Us here at Viola Valley are going to rebuild a lovely wildflower garden and would like to know if there is any one bulb or plant that anyone in the daves community would like to donate for Miss Alice. She is wonderful Christian woman of 70+ years old. She is presently rebuilding her home her in Viola and soon to be complete. Her son Bo is rebuilding himself. How lovely it is coming along. I thought that maybe if you contacted me, we could all present a lovely package of plants to her and surprise her. She has enjoyed me coming there for years bringing up a wildflower or two and her planting a little something every year for many many years. I would like to give back what she has given me. The passion for flowers.

Wow that one is beautiful... I got 6 new ones in the past two weeks... I am so hoping I can keep them alive in the winter indoors.....

The loal nursery has a couple "on sale" , along with a couple of incredible aristoc...? - but I just can't reconcile spending $20 each for something I then have to baby over the winter - like I don't have enough already cluttering the sunroom. Every year I swear I'm not getting anything else that needs to come inside for the winter. And after the aphid wars a few years ago, the brugs have been banished to the basement, to spend the winter with the bulbs! (Though I am sooo tempted to bring in the Peaches'n'Cream. The foliage is so eyecatching it would make for an eye-catching display against the backdrop of heavy snow.)

Still, the one passi she has must have 30 buds on it - just beginning to open. NO, NO!!!!!
