CLOSED: Have Gomphrena 'Strawberry Fields'

Winterville, GA(Zone 8a)

I have approximately 50 packets of seeds for trade or SASBE. They are from 2006 and have been refrigerated. Get 'em while they last! http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1416/

These are cool!!! Are they a fast grower? Our season is only 3 months.....a lot of things I tried this year just didn't have time to do their thing.....lol

Not sure if this would work in your zone. From what I remember, it took almost all spring, summer and fall to grow and dry up enough to gather seed. It's up to you if you want to give it a shot.

JoAnn,

I would LOVE to try some of these if you have enough.
It was my year to "pay it forward" so I sent ALL the seeds I didn't plan on using to the Newbie Round Robin but if you have enough, I would love to send a SASBE for some as I would really like trying to "dry" some flowers next year and this is a good drying candidate :)

Thank you very much,
Kim

Hillbilly_Gran, the Horsemint looks interesting, but then so does the Bluestar Amsonia. May I have some of each? Take a look at my trade list to see if there's anything else you can use.

I'm going to close this thread for now as I will be leaving for Pennsylvania on Wednesday to take care of my sister for 2 weeks after her major surgery on Thursday. For those of you who may have sent SASBE's, if they don't arrive by tomorrow, I will send your seeds when I get back home on the 24th.
