This is slightly different than the giant purple amaranth seeds that I am sending.

Amaranth 'Elephant Head'
Amaranthus gangeticus

This prominent plant is named "Elephant Head" for its large, dark burgundy blooms which actually look like an elephant's trunk. Open pollinated, this stunning and unusual flower is an heirloom variety. Seeds are easily saved for growing each year and will self-seed in warmer zones. Plants will grow approximately 3-5' tall and nearly as wide. This plant looks great in containers or as a garden specimen plant and blooms make for superb cut flowers. This unusual plant always gets attention in your garden!
