I had heard that we would have a warm winter with more rain than usual, based on the Farmers Almanac predictions.
I just saw on the news that we've have over 10 times the normal rain for this month and that it's 10 degrees colder than usual for this month. And I've already had another of the neighbors' dead trees fall on my fence this year. Apparently I have either bad dead tree juju or bad fence juju. Either way, I don't like it. :-(
Winter 2007 - 2008
More rain is not good - especially since many trees had their root-balls loosened, but haven't fell yet. Ugh - not happy about this. We have not begun the windy weather quite yet.
I know. It's crazy. I talked to a friend in Baltimore on Sunday. They have had little water this summer - record-setting. She was going out to water and I was listening to the rain pour through the gutters.
