I was sooo excited when I found this triple Brug @ a nursery here in Phoenix (it's rare to EVER see a Brug) Today I noticed it had 4 triple blooms and 1 single? Is that normal?
Brug with a triple and single bloom?
I think I have read before that Knightii can have single, double and occasionally triple blooms or the plant will have all three at once. Not that I'm giving you an ID, just saying all things are possible.
Its a lovely find!

You have found a plant that will give you added interest in its ability to give different flower shapes. You will probably be checking your unopened buds first thing each morning...what fun. I like your garden scene by the way. Love pots placed around and hung on walls.

Oooh! How fun! Every bloom will be a surprise :)
How cute is that darling little garden setting! That brug fits perfect! I love that picture! Soooo cute! What a steal of a deal.. good for you!
What an awesome find!! And, like the others before me, I love your setting there. Very nice.
I've read that sometimes Inca Sun will do the same thing -- throw doubles, when the plant is supposed to be a single, so I guess it happens, huh.
How very cool for you!!
What fun! I love your arrangement, too! That mirror is great for effect! Don't your eyes seem to be drawn to something unusual in your usual shopping places? Like they bug out when you spy a great find? (writing down name - like I NEED another brug!) Very cool setting for your new baby! So small and already drawing attention to itself! Congrats!
Nice find fish knees! What nursery in Phx had it? I will have to tell my mom. She and my grandmother live in Peoria and like to visit all the nurseries in the Phx. area.

My Candida Double White bloomed with both single and double blooms last year. I was disappointed, but now that I think of it I agree with tusseemussee. It did make me pay attention to each bloom.
Great Find!!!!
what a beautiful setting!
