Another First Bloom!

Alexandria, VA(Zone 7a)

I wanted post this picture by itself. I just had to show it off. I am thrilled that I managed to see my first Bloom of this plant.
So beautiful! and I had 8 of them total!
I was lucky to have one bloom after the other. I was not sure when it would open. I would check every morning (early) and then one day! Boom! A huge bloom!
Here are some other pictures of the plant and flower.

#4 this is not a good picture. But My plant put on new growth over Christmas last year. 2 long sticks grew with no leaves. Then in the middle of summer it started growing . I called it my Alien Plant for a while. I gave it some Cactus Fert. and repotted to a larger pot and then it bloomed. I thought they liked to be root bound.

I have mine in a big pot too. That's a very nice Epiphyllum oxypetalum;-)
